 FIRST TIME   PASSING 

  • Pass the ball firmly into the wall 

  • Make sure you step into your pass 

  • Keep your ankle locked

  • Head over the ball

  OUTSIDE 
  TAKEAWAY 

  • Use the outside of your foot to take the ball away in a different direction 

  • Be sure to bend at the knees

  • Drop your shoulder into the direction that you want to go in

  • Do this at speed

  L SHAPE 
  SOLE ROLL

  • Use the sole of your foot to bring the ball back behind your non-kicking foot

  • As the ball is slightly behind the non-kicking foot you use the inside of your foot to make the “L Shape”

  • Use your other foot to sole roll the ball back to the starting position

  PASSING 
  L SHAPE 
  SOLE ROLL 

  • Pass the ball firmly into the wall

  • When you receive the ball you are using your first touch to create the “L Shape”

  • Use your other foot to sole roll the ball back across your body

  PASS 
  1/4 TURN 
  FAKE PASS 

  • Pass the ball firmly into the wall

  • As you are receiving the ball make sure that you open up your body on a quarter turn like you would in a game to see the ball and to see the direction that you want to go in

  • Use one foot to receive the ball and the other foot to make the fake pass

DRIBBLE SERIES 

 L-SHAPE 
 change OF  DIRECTION

  • Drive at the middle cone like you are attacking the defender 1v1

  • You are going to slightly slow down when approaching the cone so you can make the L-Shape and change direction

 SCISSOR
 AND GO

  • Drive at the first cone as if you are attacking the defender

  • When you make your scissor dip your shoulder in one direction and then explode away in the opposite direction

 DOUBLE 
 SCISSOR

  • Drive at the first cone as if you are attacking the defender

  • You make the first scissor with the foot in the direction that you want to go

  • Make your movements quick

  • Go away at speed with the outside of the foot you started with

 SOLE ROLL 
 CUT AND GO

  • Drive at the first cone as if you are attacking the defender

  • You make the first scissor with the foot in the direction that you want to go

  • Make your movements quick

  • Go away at speed with the outside of the foot you started with

 SIDE STEP 
 

  • Drive at the cone in the middle

  • Sidestep to the direction you DON'T want to go

  • Dip your shoulder in the direction you DON'T want to go as well

  • Then go away at pace in the other direction
